PAT Testing (Portable Appliance Testing) is a quick and simple way to check that your electrical appliances are safe to use.
It involves a combination of visual checks and electrical tests, carried out in accordance with the IET Code of Practice for In-Service Inspection and Testing of Electrical Equipment, to ensure that items such as kettles, lamps, chargers, computers and other plug-in devices are working safely.
